BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14KJV). God is not mysterious as some suggest. The Bible tells us that He does nothing until He tells His servant the prophet first (Amos 3:7). The ministry of the prophet in the New Testament is for equipping other prophets and also confirming God’s word to the Christian. Their role is not to hear God’s word and come tell the church again as in the Old Testament. They might prophesy to the church which should even be a confirmation of what God would have already told a serious Christian who always has fellowship with Him because now, all can hear God and not only prophets. You need to understand that you are a child of God and hearing God shouldn’t become a struggle. You should hear God on consistent basis without any form of special organization. You need not fast to hear God, or even pray for a very long time to access the voice of God. All you need to know is how God speaks to you as His child and I want to share the primary way He does leads. When you become born again, the Spirit of God comes to dwell in you. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit in a man is what born again is simply (Romans 8:9). Scripture tells us that the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God (Romans 8:16). It’s called an inner witness. There is a confirmation you have within your spirit that you're a child of God. It puts you at rest. The way you have confirmation in your spirit concerning your salvation is the same way He confirms to you in everything. There is an agreement you have in your spirit which tells you to go ahead with peace in your heart as long as you can judge by His words. It’s not a voice. Go ahead when you have a confirmation of such but redraw when it disagrees with your spirit. God bless you. PRAYER Thank you Lord for such a revelation that has come to me this morning. I walk my path of destiny by yielding myself to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am established to ever walk in safety and preservation in Jesus’ name. Amen.
